Unfortunately, he's off to Xi An for the summer and class won't resume until September. :-(
Most instructors in the U.S. will teach Tai Chi soley as a form of exercise. If you can find a Tai Chi instructor who teaches it as a form of self defense, it is well worth studying!
We took a trip to Xi An and Wu Dong Shan two years ago and I saw some very remarkable demonstrations of Tai Chi, not to mention Kung Fu.

June 24, 2009, 02:34 PMI too am a big "Dear Amber" fan. Several weeks after her last show I dropped her a note to see if she had found anything. She mentioned that she indeed had and we now know the rest of the story.
An important lesson can be learned from all this. Gossip can really cause much pain and should be avoided. Get the facts and just ask. Amber did leave contact information and she was very open with me when I asked. If you don't know something for certain, my suggestion is to keep quite until you do.
