July 23, 2008, 02:16 AM我有个很好菲律宾华人朋友,之前老说我的普通话发音不标准。因为我学的是大陆的普通话,所以我的口音跟他们菲律宾华人的口音不一样。好像菲律宾华人的口音是很接近中国南方的。比如说,“东西” 的 “西”,标准的发音就是有翘舌音,南方的发音就是有平舌音。我每次说“东西”的时候他说我不对!真的很讨厌!幸好现在他不这么做了。
I had a really good Filipino-Chinese friend who always corrected my pronunciation even though I was speaking with a standard mainland accent. For example, the "xi" in 东西 (dongxi) has a retroflex sound, whereas Southern Chinese would probably pronounce the "xi" like "si" instead of "shi." It was kinda annoying...
