April 09, 2014, 03:19 AMHappy you're still here, Jenny. Wishing you continued success. Back in 2008 when I first found you guys - now that was something special. Oh well. Change must come to us all.

October 24, 2013, 07:56 AMI just flew China Air to a Thai Island. The whole plane was educated, young, just married Chinese couples. They all followed a person with a flag to a bus from the terminal. 特别浪漫的!哈哈

February 27, 2013, 04:39 AMI don't know the Shanghai betting rules. The E. character says he won, but he never placed his bet. He is not a laipi. He was never in the contest.

November 22, 2012, 04:53 AMI'm finished the lesson, and it was great, but could you might wanna go back and re-record this line in the expansion:
你还是早点出发吧,说不定路上会堵车。 The voice keeps saying: ...haishi zao chu ba ba. LOL

March 08, 2012, 08:02 AMOn second thought, gao and shang was not your intention, but I have seen you do this on purpose.

March 08, 2012, 07:00 AMSomething that I have noticed in so many of the lessons that you have created over the past four years that I have been using chinesepod involves characters or sounds that are similar to other words (previously taught)and how you go out of your way to make sure to include the familiar character or word in the expansion while teaching the new character/word. In this lesson you teach shangliang (商量), but you make sure to have a sentence with the word 高 so that we can notice the character difference between 商and 高. You do this a lot and this extra effort is really helpful and greatly appreciated.

February 15, 2012, 07:36 AMMy question not interesting? I think she's saying zuixin in a lesson where you are teaching zuijin. That doesn't kinda bother you? I stopped using Englishpod for my ESL classes because there were so many mistakes. You guys are usually more about cleaning these things up. If I am wrong or if there is some alternate pronunciation of zuijin, it would be nice to know.
