June 26, 2013, 07:19 AMI wonder 就是说不知道。我很好奇is I am curious. You don't use it so much in spoken Chinese. Also you can say 我很想知道。
Most common though is 不知道你或者他或者等等怎么怎么样
For example my gf says 不知道你喜不喜欢。She wants to know the answer though. It's not only telling me that she doesn't know.
But then one day she said:
我很好奇有没有其他女孩子跟你说过她喜欢你。This means that she is really curious, it's not only slight wondering.

December 13, 2012, 06:45 AMThe biggest problem in Shanghainese (and other 南方的城市) housing actually is the lack of insulation. That's what makes 地暖 so expensive. No matter how much you heat it, it all goes out of the poor standard windows and non-insulated walls. In Northern Europe 地暖 is very popular and is relatively competitive with other types of heating just because of proper insulation. The same applies for cooling down the room in summer heat. If only there would be higher standards of building insulation, it would save huge amounts of energy.
