祸兮福之所倚，福兮祸之所伏。（huo xi fu zhi suo yi, fu xi huo zhi suo fu.）
意思是祸与福互相依存，可以互相转化。比喻坏事可以引出好的结果，好事也可以引出坏的结果。

corny = 粗俗的，过时的，感伤的 adj.
cheesy = 粗陋的，夸张的，过于多愁善感的 adj.
这是词典里的正式的说法。
一般来说，我感觉：
“corny/cheesy”可以说是“肉麻”“做作”“俗”之类的。
顺便说一下，因为“肉麻”“做作”“俗”是贬义词，所以，除非对方是你的非常亲密的可以开玩笑的朋友，不然不要用这些词。
