@Richnirish The Chinese R is not at all similar to the French j. It's more like a reverse (English) y. Try to say Yen (as in the currency), but instead of pressing the sides of your tongue against your gum, use the tip of the tongue. When you articulate the r in rung, your tongue describes the same movement, but it touches the gum closer to your teeth.
