what is the correct pronounciation of 风. jenny said it regularly in 风景。is it pronounced fong or feng, and which is the correct way. i remember learning it as feng.

i've been using chinesepod for just over one week now, and during that time, i've probably learnt 200 new words. good on ya chinesepod. also can 行人 can be used as an adjective, as in 'he is very pedestrian', so can i say 这个人很行人？

i love listening to jenny and connie speak. only if i could understand them. if a chinese learner can understand this, does that mean he is at an advanced level? because i read the newspaper article but i dont understand a word.

also i have another question, instead of 这么贵，can you also say, 好贵， and what is the difference. can you also say 太贵 or 很贵？

i also have a question, when do you use 这么, and when do u use 那么。 in the dictionary, both words have the same meaning. or is it due to distance, if it is far away 那么, and close by 这么?

compare it to the phrase, 你说太快了. with the 得, it would mean, "you said, 'too fast'". So the 得, while it has no meaning, changes the entire meaning of the phrase.

there are many 'de'. one is 的，得， and 地. here 得， goes after verbs and adjectives, and indicates the result, possibility or degree of that verb. so in the sentence 你说得太快了. you speak, but how fast? the word(s) after 得 is how you speak. in this case very fast. i hope that makes sense.
