April 22, 2014, 08:42 PM真情流露 is an interesting expression. Are there other uses of 流露, or is it always a \"chunk\" - 真情流露?

Posted on: Thanking a Hospitable Friend
October 08, 2011, 01:00 AMI almost always pay, but early last year a Chinese friend met me for dinner at a wonderful wine bar in Shanghai, Enoteca, and insisted on paying. So I accepted the hospitality against my instinct. I don't know if it's my upbringing or my own quirkiness, but to this day, I feel bad about that. I appreciate the hospitality, but I would rather pay! 我比较请你吃!

September 30, 2011, 04:25 PMYes, Ctrip is great. Weekend before last I needed to get to Shanghai from Beijing so I used Ctrip. Although I wanted economy, they got me a first class ticket on the return for the same price, so it was a no-brainer to take the free upgrade. Wow! First class lounge at Hongqiao T2, comfortable flight. Ctrip has some buying power.

July 06, 2014, 10:48 PMI got my full time MBA paid by my employer, who also paid my full salary while I was at school, as well as relocation. (In return I agreed to work four years, after which, I resigned.) If it weren't for that opportunity, I wouldn't have gotten my MBA. I admire those who can figure out how to do it while they are working, or who sacrifice to pay for it.
