My question is the sentence 群众基础好 isn’t more correct  like John was first suggesting "the masses foundation in pingpong skills." Like a huge base of people to choose from. Then you have the sentence 加上国家大力支持 ad to that you have the nations energetic support. The translation in the PDF is "it enjoys the popular support." + "The state supports it vigorously."

Shouldn’t the peddler get some money for the trouble of recycling the microwave instead of paying for it? Or will he be able to get some cash back somehow.
