1. I have a question regarding the following structure: 画的是什么呢？ Is this generally usable when asking what something is made of/ about? ex:书的是什么呢？- what's the book about?酒的是什么呢？ - what's the drinks made of? etc

 

2. Regarding the following 听起来也好美。What is the role of 起来？ Can it be removed altogether?
