Great to see the Elementary lessons making a comeback. Thanks Jenny and Grace for a useful lesson! Just one thing - in the exercises section, the sound in the dictation part is really unclear. The pronunciation itself isn't clear and the volume is really low (I had to turn my laptop volume up to maximum and even then struggled to hear properly). Just sounds a bit fuzzy/like there's some background noise. The dictation sound in some of your other new lessons has been a bit better but in general, not as clear or as lessons from 2017 and older. Just thought I'd flag this up :) Overall, you two are doing a great job. Keep it up!

Hope everyone had a good Christmas! Just a note to say the grammar section about ‘过’ seems to be missing and could it be fixed please :)

Yeah, I've been having trouble since yesterday >.< I'm using Safari so maybe it's the same problem  over all internet browsers?

Same here, the exercises don't work. We've currently got a small amount of people who have also spoken about experiencing this problem. If you check out this thread, then perhaps if you leave a comment your 'exercise problems', we can see what different problems relating with the exercises are and CPod will read them and get it fixed :)

Oh that's great! Thanks for your hard work. I'm sure that's going to really help loads of us Poddies ^^

Oh wow, those pictures are stunning! Definitely some strong resemblance there. Glad there is a film like Avatar! Regardless that the scenery isn't actually real, the nature and wildlife in Pandora is simply stunning and it could be real for all we see! Truly amazing skill went into that film and also the art of Roger Dean!

Yikes! This lesson is really hard! :S This is the first lesson above Elementary I've listened to but I couldn't ignore this one since it's about Avatar! XD I wish I could understand more though :( Is there not a transcript of a dialogue or something like there is in lower levels? There only seems to be some key vocab >.< Or is this the whole point of Media level, to make it challenging? Sorry, first time I've listened to a really hard lesson!

hehe, I never noticed that, but yeah, the same excited hand waving seems to be what my avatar is doing! haha and I like the idea of being happily confused; (sounds like me on a normal day anyway :P ) as I think I spend too much time worrying about not understanding things 100%. That's probably why I haven't progressed in Chinese as fast as I would have done :( perhaps a late new-years resolution is in order? To stop being a perfectionist and to expose myself to lots of new language material! ^^

PS Glad you haven't missed out on Wallace and Grommit then! :P Also, the excitement of the lesson might have something to do with me being an Avatar fanatic! XD

hehe yes, the "Eeeeeek!" was positive thing! Picture me sitting at my laptop excitedly waving my hands from side to side like when Wallace and Gromit see cheese, making excited squeals! :P hehe (I'm hoping you've seen Wallace and Gromit? If not, must be a very British thing and I've just totally confused you! :P)

Thanks for the advice ^^ That's a really good idea. If I can read a page in a book (will a dictionary close by and a few weeks to spare :P) than I'm sure I'll find a way to tackle a Media lesson ^^ I'll think of it as my challenge for the week ^^
