Hi Since71,

kè 刻 = quarter of an hour

bàn半 = half

chà差 = be less than; be short of

7:15:

• qī diǎn yí kè 七点一刻 = a quarter past seven
• qī diǎn shí wǔ fēn 七点十五分 =  seven fifteen

7:30:

• qī diǎn bàn七点半 = half past seven
• qī diǎn sān shí fēn 七点三十分 = seven thirty

7:45:

• bā diǎn chà yí kè 八点差一刻 = a quarter to 8
• qī diǎn sì shí wǔ fēn 七点四十五分 = seven forty five

7:55:

• bā diǎn chà wǔ fēn 八点差五分 = five to eight 
• qī diǎn wǔ shí wǔ fēn 八点五十五分 = seven fifty five
