This was a great lesson.

I have a question though - is 黑客 always negative?

The english term 'hacker' has become somewhat controversial in the way it is used, since the meaning has been popularised by the media to be nearly exclusively negative. However in the past it was used to mean someone who has a great knowledge of computers and programming, without the negative connotation. The term 'cracker' has been used instead to describe someone who uses their computer knowledge and skills for security intrusion related (negative) purposes.

Is there any term in chinese for a 'good hacker'?

Also there are other terms in english for hackers/crackers who use their skills for different purposes such as 'black hats', 'white hats' and 'grey hats'.

Do these terms exist in chinese?

Great lesson, the dialogue had me in stitches! This could be a fairly typical scene when the footy is on here. I've seen similar amongst some of the English Football fans too ;-)

Well done Clay (and Jenny), you were really good. Once again best wishes for the future!

I agree with you baishen, when you are next down under Jenny we'll have to show you what a great game Aussie Rules footy really is!
