There are two similar phrazes in English.(only simiar)
左右=more or less 大概=about/approximately
一小时 左右 an hour,more or less.
大概 一小时 about one hour
花 5 小时 左右
spend 5 hours ，more or less.
( '左右' 就是 'right or left' but we never use that in English.)

I think it should be this way....
1.被 is used in the passive voice
You can look on this structure as the placement of a verb with 被 before its subject. B do A=A 被 B do
你吃 饭 =饭 被 你吃
2. 把 is used in the active voice+the perfect tense.
A 把 B how ( have done, A's action)
I 把 rice have eaten=I have eaten rice
我 把 饭 吃了=我 吃了 饭
我 把 把和被怎么用 弄懂了=我 弄懂了 把和被怎么用
我 把 中国话 学会了=我 学会了 中国话
After all they are equal only in the grammar.What they emphasize are different.
I could be wrong,however...

概率 means probability.(I don't know what 概 refers to but 率 means ratio). So 大概 is similar to probably/probable/about .(only similar.I could be wrong however..)
大概 他离开了 Probably he has left.
还有 大概 5小时 There is still probable 5 hours .
Just within my knowledge...
One of the meanings of Chinese Character 约 is "estimate sth in order to make it brief and concise.
It refers to a concept of maths.
So 大约 is similar to about.
When one says 大约 5 小时 it could be 5.12354325 hours or 4.9923423 hours.To make it brief and save unnecessary trouble,one estimate三 it and say三 大约 5 hours.
