Thanks for your suggestions. I do follow the whole lesson and the exercises.
However, I don't know about the audio review that you mentioned. How do I find the audio review?
And like I said, the dialogue on the lesson isn't the same as what is downloaded on my MP3.
Oh dear, is the audio review the dialogue thta is on my MP3?!!

Thanks for your comments; I do get a bit down on myself.
I have another question though. When you say listen to the dialogue, which one do you mean? I listen on the computer and it's different to what I get on my MP3 when I download it. I get some vocabulary and completely different dialogue!
What is everyone else listening to to learn the lesson?

December 01, 2008, 06:47 AMHi Everyone,
Are there no comments from Connie on this one yet?
You all seem so advanced in your learning, I feel I'm way behind everyone.
I'm trying very hard but I don't seem to be able to retain a lesson a day!

November 21, 2008, 01:54 PMHi ChinesePod,
I can't seem to get the audio to work for the second half of the lesson. It plays up until 4 mins and 10 secs.
Is the fault at my end or in the program?
Hope you can fix it for me as I'm really interested in this lesson. Thanks.

October 27, 2008, 11:55 AMHi there,
I'm not sure if anyone will get this seeing as it's been around for a long while but, I have found a common problem in many of the lessons.
In the exercise section, the last or third one often has mistakes in it and it's impossible to get 7/7.
It seems that some of the characters are repeated when they shouldn't be, and when you click restart you get another character twice.Click again and you get the first two back.
At first I wouldn't go on to the next lesson because I hadn't finished the last one but now I just click 'studied' and leave it because you can check the answers anyway.
Can this please be checked and fixed? Thanks

Thanks.

September 28, 2008, 02:32 AMHi Connie,
My Chinese is not too good, so just a couple of questions.
Is "I almost missed the bus" the same sentence as not making the plane?
我差点热赶上公交车
How would I write the following:
I almost forgot to go to the meeting
And the next two sentences have the same meaning but I'm gussing that they would be written entirely differently in Chinese:
I almost failed the exam
I almost didn't pass the exam
Thanks a lot,
Suzanne

Thank you so much - these ideas are great! I'm not too good with technical stuff but the Excel file worked and I've just printed off all of my vocab list!
I'm really struggling with trying to learn all of the Chinese in the lessons; I retain a few phrases and that's about it.
I'm really excited now.

December 07, 2008, 02:49 AMI agree with you! I love Qing Wen because it's so useful immediately.
But I also wait until I've got Connie's notes. This is because I can jot down the little extra bits of info they give as well as following the sentences.
Thanks, ChinesePod.
