The word "suan" is used in counting discrete objects like books, coins, vehicles etc. 对不对？
而且，“算”和“计算”有什么不一样？
Also, for the word "cuo" (错), we always put it after some verbs to signify that the it has been mistakenly done.
*写错，说错，找错，等等。。。
我说得对吗？

你说得对，“重新”是“again”，如果你想用“重”，只可以这样：“重(again)+a monosyllabic verb”，比如：重做，重算，重写。你可以说“重算一下”，或者“重新计算一下”，也可以说“重新算算”，但是“重算算”听起来有点奇怪(qi2guai4; strange)。
“重”也有"repeat;duplicate"的意思，要这样说：“a monosyllabic verb+重” 或者 "重" used as an adjective，比如：书买重了。 这两个例子(lìzi; example)重了。
你写的两个句子有点小问题：
*他们重新休息休息吧。——他们又休息了一会儿。=They had a rest again.(We only use "重" or "重新" when the action doesn't achieve the aim. That's why we need do it again. But for "休息", if you haven't had a good rest, what you can do is to rest for another while.）（"吧"can be used at the end of a sentence to soften the tone, usually making a suggestion. If you want to use “吧”, the subject “他们”should be“你们”,then the sentence should be"你们再休息休息吧。" Both "又"and"再" mean "again", but "又" is used for something happened, while"再" for the future tense.)
*我应该重新看看那个本书。——我应该重新看看那本书。(“本”是"书"的measure word，不需要"个"了。)

你说得对！Both of them can be "count"or "calculate", but “计算”is more formal than "算".
Yes, we always put "错" after some verbs. Of course, you also can use "对" in this way. Like, “我说对了吗？”
