The annoyance of the "my lessons" tab

November 12, 2010, 12:49 AM posted in General DiscussionI have noticed that the "my lessons" tab stops accepting new lessons after I have 10 that are active. Also, since I have to click on the manage lesson's button to mark them as something other than "active", it has gotten a lot more inconvenient to keep the active ones below the threshhold of 10. Add to this, the lesson list under the lessons section is often updated quite a bit before "my lessons" is updated. This is very annoying, to the point where it pretty much makes the whole dashboard useless.

November 12, 2010, 03:19 AMHi mark, new lessons on your dashboard are updated when you log into your account. Therefore, I you are not logged out completely from the previous session, your dashboard will not update the new lessons. The same theory applies to the new lessons in the lessons section updating before your dashboard. I would recommend logging out of your ChinesePod account then log back in to refresh your dashboard lessons.

Oh. Thanks for the explanation. Could we get a refresh button? Logging in and out takes a couple minutes. BTW, I just tried logging in and logging out, but the most recent couple of lessons still didn't show up.

wow. how can cpod even stay solvent with this kind of crappy website design.

I'd just avoid the Dashboard completely. Just click on Lessons and download which ever lessons you want and manage the lessons on your computer using folders. So much easier this way.
