Anyone Know Good Complete Courses For Putonghua?

A wise man told me if i am really going to get mandarin i have to do a complete course.

This is coming from a man who is white American who became totally fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin in so much that he taught his two children cantonese and mandarin first before teaching them english. He speaks like a native chinese.

Does anyone know what are some of the best complete courses for mandarin study. Perhaps complete study courses from the language department of Beijing or from Yale University?

Anyone looked into this stuff and found out what is good or most preferred for study?
