Is it possible to say: 两年少了?

I have just had a class where the person in the taxi answered the taxi driver: 两年多了 to say: more than two years...i was wondering if it's possible also to use: 两年少了? in order to say: less than two years...

"less than two years" is "不到两年 bù dào liǎng nián" or "少于两年 shǎo yú liǎng nián."
