Search Function

February 15, 2011, 03:00 AM posted in General DiscussionI love Chinesepod, but is there anyway you all could improve the search function a bit? I like to use the dialogues as a corpus of clear, translated sentences: i.e. I search for a word or character I'm learning, and the read several examples of how it is used in the dialogues. The difficulty is that for some reason I can't go back to my search results once I've clicked on a hit, and I can't save my search preferences, so I have to recheck "Lesson Dialogues and Vocabulary" with each search. Thanks!

February 16, 2011, 06:00 AMHi NYGiants, you can use the "Expand Search" function to search only the lesson dialogue and vocabularies on the search index page at http://chinesepod.com/search/index. I would recommend using the right-click => open link in new tab function to open the search result in the separate tab so you can keep the search result page.
