Did Frank get a job?...

Hey there, TaiPan! Funny you should ask that. It's not that I got a job, it's just that the job I got finally blocked the ChinesePod site from my web browser! Those bastards! Who are they to balk my personal development while I use their business computers on company time for my own private use?! *cough* Unfortunately, my after-work hours are consumed with the film projects, so I don't have the time to respond like I used to. I still come and read every day, and I do the lessons in the car, but my time on the site is at an all-time low. It makes me sad. :-( But thanks for noticing I was gone! :-D

Doc, I still have this crazy dream of moving to Shanghai for a year or two to completely immerse myself in the language. The goal is to be there in as little as a year or two. I have a plan.... :-)

Why don't you combine your passion for film with your dream to move to Shanghai. Call it "Fu and Far Between: The Frank Fradella Story" The heartwarming coming of middle-age story of a white american, recovering from his parents' unexpected death in a freak blogging accident, longs to discover his roots when a typo in his family tree leads him back to a small village of Fu outside of Shanghai China. Hijinx ensue when the search for his Grandparents turn every poor couple in this small village into potential adoptors, trying to win the heart of Frank for a ticket to the mythical and idealized West.

TaiPan - Dude, that plot could actually WORK. Of course, now I can't use it! Gah! And my goal is actually to shoot a movie there someday. I really really really want to. You have no idea.
