I don't need to use the 试 in here because it is a separable verb.

 I asked a question about  my use of 去。。。来了  and I was right in thinking it was not right.  I should use 去。。。了  or for smaller places I can use 到。。。去了。 e.g.  到超市去了

I think I will re introduce using regular patterns into my diary, and get my pattern book going again.
