Chinese baby books

Hi,

I'd like to get some Chinese books for my son, so he can start learning numbers, animals, foods, that kind of thing. Does anyone have any specific books that they would recommend?

I gather you don't live in China - if shopping on line I suggest you google or baidu 幼儿挂图 yòuér guàtú (childrens posters) for a start - on all those topics you mention and more. They are great; post them on your walls.  

Then if you are after little picture books, try for a start

宝宝第一本:  动物，认物品，认植物，学算术，学拼音，学英语，等等 

You will find that the supply of learning materials exceeds your child's lifetime demands. :)
