New TV show

I'm starting recording of a semi-regular stint on a Shanghai-based TV show tomorrow. The focus of the show is on cross cultural issues: communications, culture, East meets West, etc. I'm looking for good anecdotes, stories, references, etc, to share with the audience about East meeting West, learning Chinese, interaction between the people, etc. We've covered so many issues here that I don't know where to begin. Are there any stories or such that stand out from the ChinesePod lessons/discussions? Which ones? I'll be asking Amber for her opinion too, of course.  

If you have some of your own stories concerning cross-cultural China stuff, feel free to pass them on. I'll attribute them to you on the show.

The show will be in English and I hope to be able to link to it on Youtube when it starts in January.

Let's arm Ken with ammunition so that he can weave chinesepod into each show he does. Boomerang effect for chinesepod. The new channel will be the first and only English channel in Shanghai. The promo says 'good things come to those who wait'.

According to user reactions there is one "East meats West" anectode that actually happened right here: The infamous "Smoking is cool". Although uttered by Aric this reflects a totally different cultural approach to this kind of drug. I really would have liked to contribute to this, but all my thoughts are pretty lame. I still want to watch the show so I can't wait 'til you put it on youtube!
