How to best use CPod?

September 11, 2011, 11:56 AM posted in General DiscussionI would really be interested to hear how folks use CPod. I use a laptop/desktop, iPod, and iPadII daily, and would like to incorporate all into my CPod learning. Can I set up my iPod to automatically download the day's audio lesson so I can listen to it on the way to work--isn't that the way a podcast is supposed to work?
Be interested to hear how folks get the most out of their CPod and e-gadgets.

September 11, 2011, 03:39 PMStill not finding a way for my iPad and iPod to automatically download podcasts--do I have to get those by synching to my laptop, or is there a way to download automatically and directly to my iPad/Touch?

you can use pod catcher software like itunes. You will need to paste the RSS feed address into itunes and it can be found by clicking the almost invisible grey cogwheel top right of dashboard page. Ipod can use itouch direct or you can drag from laptop.
Or you can download the cpod app from app store for ipod that will allow direct downloading of lessons as long as you are in range of wireless connection. click on "mobile" at bottom of community page for info. Android apps also available.

Thanks RJ--I've got my Laptop set up that way (plugged the RSS feed address into the podcast address window of iTunes). What I have not been able to do is find that RSS address window in iTunes on my iPad and iTouch. (I mistakenly mentioned my iPod earlier, which I have now decommissioned--sorry for the misdirect).
I have the RSS address, just don't know where to paste it into. If you know how I can navigate to those windows on my iPad and iTouch, please let me know.
Thanks!
RJ
I have an itouch but I manually sync by plugging into my laptop. Maybe check the on-line manual for itouch.
also the chinesepod app will allow you to automatically download any lessons on your dashboard. As long as you load it while in range of your wireless you can then take it with you. As long as this is working well you dont need itunes. Download from app store.

Thanks RJ--that sounds like the way to go.
