I came across an interesting quote (see below) which is repeated on several different proverb websites. However, I've been hitherto unable to locate its source, or even the original Chinese characters for it ... Which leads me to ask:
Is this, in fact, an authentic Chinese proverb? If so, would someone be able to provide the original Chinese for it, and maybe even its source?
