Asking for a Recommendation

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience asking for or writing recommendations in Chinese? I'd like to ask one of my professors for a rec, but I'm not sure what the proper word would be in Chinese, or if there's a certain format to be used when making requests of Chinese professors. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time!

Hellon @kongjingying, I think 推荐信 should work fine.
