Searching the conversations....

December 31, 2007, 03:45 PM posted in General DiscussionHow likely would it be to enable users to do a topic search in the conversations tab? Seems there are times when I recall seeing a discussion that is not especially relevant to me when I had first read it, but then be drawn back to the idea several weeks/months later and I'm asking myself "where was that thread on radicals that got such an outpouring of responses?" I think it would also be helpful to have the community access the conversation archives more readily to prevent duplication of common threads such as Shanghai hotels or Mandarin language movies. Agreed?

December 31, 2007, 08:14 PMAbsolutely, but who is brave enough to ask for more features to be slipped under the iceberg? Google is pretty good for finding Conversations entries (e.g. "shanghai hotels site:chinesepod.com"). Also the Forum has a good search feature built in and a wealth of information, if you can handle the spam.
