June 01, 2008, 02:16 PMThanks for pointing that out... didn't even notice the published date. I stumbled onto this lesson after doing a lesson search for "airplane". But why is it listed if it's not yet available?

April 25, 2008, 10:59 PMI'm glad to see the dissection of bathroom/WC /toilet vocab in the comments, as I just suggested this as a possible QW last week. Glad to know that 洗手间 is most formal... but what would be the least formal? For instance, slang expressions similar to "can", "loo", or "pisser"?

April 08, 2008, 10:42 PMRequest for a future 请问... breakdown the various vocabulary and expressions for the term "bathroom" (厕所, 浴室, 卫生,etc). Which is most formal ("restroom"), which is more like slang ("can" or "loo")??? Is one word used to entail a room with both a toilet and a shower or tub?

March 04, 2008, 12:14 AMThanks Amber, Arthur, and Jenny... another good one. I'd love it if you could follow up with more DA's exploring different cities/destinations in China.... Xi'an, Chengdu, Kunming, etc. etc. etc.

January 12, 2008, 04:55 PMTalk about breaking down barriers! I think this DA opened up a whole new level of intimacy within the community. Question... what are you supposed to do with the little scoop/bucket floating in the big 50 gallon drum of water? Splash it on your backside?

August 08, 2008, 11:52 PMAdam... It's broadcasting in its entirety on NBC at 6:30pm Pacific time in the U.S. (approx. 90 minutes from now) We'll be some of the last people on Earth to see it (except for perhaps Hawaiins).
