Questions about Succeed In 2008 Special...

I was trying to sign up for the special...my acct. expires in a few days and I want to upgrade to that before it's expired.  When I click on the link to sign up I am redirected to a page that suggest i upgrade to the "Practice" status. Can someone help me with this? How do I sign up for the Succeed in 2008 special?

It's just an ad for the practice plan I think, which is premium plus daily phone/skype calls for speaking practice.

The practice plan is great in that it gives you daily phone / speaking practice with members of the Chinesepod staff (how cool is that? Maybe...just maybe even get a chance to practice with the great Jenny herself!) but that plan is a bit more expensive that some people can afford. The premium plan is what I'm on and gives you full access to all the leaning materials on the site including "The Fix", 128 bit (cd quality) audio files, the Expansions, The Exercises, the full Dictionary, Flascards, the Lesson PDF's (transcripts) and I'm assuming alot of new things that the good people here a Chinesepod have in store for us. It's alot better than the Basic subscription which only gives you access to the PDF transcripts but none of the other learning materials on the site. I think for most people the Premium is the most affordable and complete subscription.

hrmm.... what I'm reffering to is the add on the homepage after signing in. It's to the Right of the screen reading.... "Succeed in 2008! With free personal guidance. Click here to continue >" Chinesepod is offering 2 months worth of extra features to those who subscribe to a 12 month premium account by January 31st, but I'm having a hard time signing up. I don't know if I just need to wait til my subscription is expired to sign up or not...I was just trying to extend it so I can get the special, but I'm having trouble doing that. I wonder, is there someone I should be sending a message to?

Yeah I see what you mean. I thought if I extend my membership now maybe I could subscribe to the special but it's just kicking me back to the screen to sign up for the 1 year Practice Plan at the regular price...I wonder what's up with that? I also wonder if anyone extending their membership early right now could take advantage of the special?
