I know I have asked this before, but I want to know if there is a list somewhere on the internet of Pinyin sounds that are used and not used. for example;

fo2 is a pinyin sound that is actually used in the language

fo3 I believe is a sound that has no meaning or character

I know about the pinyin chart on this site, that included 1627 sound combinations, but I know that some combinations are not used.

Thanks

some pinyin charts just dont play the combos that dont exist or they are grayed out as described here: (But why would you need a list? If it never comes up, its never a problem.)

"Some sound and tone combinations do not exist in Mandarin; therefore, when a sound is clicked it is possible that not all tone combinations ticked will be played. Also, some sounds maybe grayed-out indicating that that particular sound does not exist for the tones ticked."

I downloaded the pinyin chart, took the sounds from the pinyin chart, and created an Anki deck to associate the pinyin sounds with. The pinyin chart uses every sound and tone combination, so this means that I am studying combinations that I will never use. If I could figure out the combinations that are not used, I won't have to study them, and could therefore direct effort to other areas.
