YouTube in Conversations

YouTube videos finally work in the Conversation section! Here's one to try it out, a review of Ang Lee's film "Lust, Caution." (May have some adult language!) Note: you must click on the "HTML" button at the right end of the toolbar to paste in the YouTube code. After you do that, you won't see the code or the video in the editing window, but it will be there when you publish. It's best to do this last. We'll try to make this process more user-friendly in the future.

I have but it was so much to absorb i have to see it again. It was a blur. I think I need John's wife with me next time to give me the play by play commentary of the cultural side of things.

How about some new Chinesepod videos on Youtube (oder chinesepod.com for that matter)? I really liked Aric's video of the Chinesepod studios and surroundings etc.? What with the VIP lounges, security and receptionists and Ken's big office overseeing the Huangpu etc.? :-)

err: This should read "or chinesepod" instead of "oder" (which accidentally is the German equivalent).

At the risk of sounding like a geezer myself at my tender young age, I have to agree with every word the geezers said! The love scenes; not sexy... The build-up of the romance: illogical... The pacing of the movie: much too slow... The script: needed to be reworked and cut down... The cinematography: repetetive, the same 4 or 5 shots throughout the whole movie... The acting: With the exception of Tony Leung, Joan Chen and Tang Wei...AMATUERISH! (especially Wang Li Hong, a very gift singer, songwriter and musician, but a putridly bad actor!) and I could go on and on! Gone is the Ang Lee of yesteryear that we all fell in love with in the Crouching Tiger / Sense & Sensibility days when his movies were filled with charismatic actors, grade A acting, sophisticated storylines, yet filled with a sense of childlike wonder. I want to learn something meaningful from your movies Ang, what happened to you lately?
