January Skype Weekend

It's the middle of the month again. ChinesePod Forum Skype Weekend starts in 12 hours or so, depending which part of the world you're in.

 Turn on your Skype, leave it on all weekend, and look out for any Poddies whose Skype names you know (Check the Forum for names of people who have said they're interested). Send them an invitation to add to your contacts list, so you can see when each other is online, but be sure to let people know you're from cpod.

You can mark yourself "away" or "unavailable" overnight, and still be "online" to receive contact invitations. 

 If you get a call this weekend, all you have to do is say a quick hello in English. The idea is to meet fellow students, no pressure to speak Mandarin, keep it relaxed and social for now. Who knows what might come later.
