I know that in a crowd where you want to get past you can say 让一下, but how about it you want someone to move over on the couch? Or if someone is in front of the TV and you want them to move? What do you say?

Thank you! Is 挪一下 natural?

Yes,it is. 挪 can be regarded as an abbreviation of “挪动”.

“挪一下”
挪 also contains the meaning of moving, but a slight move.
Or if someone is in front of the TV and you want them to move?
“让一下”is acceptable
“别挡着我“ is more direct in that circumstance.
别挡着我,means get out of my way,I can't see the thing I want to see.
Hope my explanation helps.
