Not noticing this on our end.

May I ask are you using a VPN if located within China? Sometimes the skritter plug-in has some difficulties loading when not connected to a VPN on the mainland.

You might also want to try refreshing your cahce and cookies and re-loading your browser. This often helps with similar access issues.

If you run into further issues please let me know :)

Hi Justin,

I experienced similar issues with the Skritter plug-in - but only in Chrome. I do the writing practice (which is a core element of each lesson for me) on Firefox now. That is somewhat ironical, as I started using Chrome only to speed up Skritter...

Side note: The same happens to replying to comments or editing them. Seems to be a problem with the stupid Flash plugin.

Thanks for the feedback! I know Skritter recently upgraded something on their server, and requested someone on our end to update the "skritter-lite" plug in on our website (I believe this was in November).

I believe Rich may have been the one working on this, so I will ask him if he knows what's up when he comes back from holidays.

Currently, though, we are still having a tough time reproducing the error, even across multiple browsers. >

Yes, will check when I get back. We updated to their new flash file and had worked then, but now I think Skritter made some year-end changes to their server. Have a good and happy New Years everyone! 新年快乐!

Its working for me in FF, IE, and Chrome. I do not have a mac so I cant speak to that.

Thanks for the feedback RJ. Yes, was wondering if it was maybe a browser issue. Nonetheless, will have to check with Skritter company to see what problems they are experiencing with different platforms...

I'm sorry I didn't realize this sooner, but the solution to this is the one we often get from support techs: CLEAR YOUR CACHE! :)

You are using the older flash file provided by Skritter. They have changed their server name, and thus gave us a new flash file with those details, but alas, browser like to hold on to the old copy. Clear your cache in your browser by going to the options/settings/preferences. Thanks!

However, if you do have problems, let me know, but Skritter is free sailing now for me, even though when I got on my Firefox it wasn't loading...did a hard refresh of the page and it works.
