Learn Characters like a Chinese Child

I found this book at a bookstore in Nanjing.  It seems just like the books used to teach young children English:

It has detailed instructions to draw each character and lots of practice space to repeatedly draw them.

 

Has anyone ever used this book?

Any other comments/suggestions?
