“下” 还是 “次”

“下” is actually means the number of the actions. “次” means the number of the whole thing, matter. 比如说：
“我打了你两下”，这里的“下”指的是“打”这个动作的量词。
“我打了你两次”，这里的“次”指的是“我打你“这件事情的量词。可能我第一次打了你三下或者五下。第二次打了你七下或者八下。但是“打人”这件事是两次。

March 15, 2014, 11:48 AM“下“ means "a little, a bit", it indicateds the action is very quick and casual. For example, "看一下"、"来一下". While " 次" means "number of times". For example, “我去过两次北京“。
