Chinese Films

I occasionally pick out a random Chinese film and watch it without subtitles to see how I can get on. My level is upper intermediate on CPod and I think this is just about enough to understand enough of what people are saying and enjoy the film (some are easier than others!).
I thought I'd jot down some of the films that I've seen so that others can maybe give them a go. Also, if anyone can recommend a film, that'd be great!
那些年我们一起追的女孩 (one of the best I've seen)
101次求婚
同桌的你
卧虎藏龙 (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon - saw it in English years ago but interesting to go back and watch in it's original recorded form. Lots of poetic language that I didn't quite follow in parts)
失恋33天 (Nicely made but I found the accents quite strong)
致我们终将逝去的青春
分手合约 (some pretty ropey acting in parts)
被偷走的五年 (easiest to understand in the list - I'm guessing quite a simple script. Depressing ending!)
人在囧途 (simple and funny. Not a love movie!)
人再囧途之泰囧 (sequel to the above. Not as good but enjoyable)
I think there are a lot more I've seen but those are the ones that jump to mind. I'll add post more when I remember them. As you'll probably notice, most of these are soppy love films. Not the typical film I'd go for but usually easier on the vocab and enjoyable enough.
Anyone else have any to share?
James

August 15, 2014, 12:18 AMGreat post James ! I'm sorry I can't add much as I've not gotten around to watching many Chinese films, but it's definitely on my agenda. I was only thinking the other day that I want to start getting into them. So thanks for your list and your quick guide to them is really helpful. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Red Cliff which was awesome.
