February 06, 2008, 10:13 AM posted in General DiscussionI received these from my Chinese colleagues in Tianjin. Now I am wondering if Jenny or John would write a new song called "The 12 Days of Chinese New Year" to the tune of "The 12 Days of Christmas".

February 06, 2008, 11:03 AMHere's my attempt at writing the 12 Days of Chinese New Year: On the first day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, a mouse that doesn't stir on Christmas Eve. On the second day of Chinese New Year, my true love gave to me, a cow that produces lactose-free milk. On the third day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, a tame snow tiger. On the fourth day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, a cute and neutered rabbit. On the fifth day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, Puff the Magic Dragon. On the sixth day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, a snake with no fangs. On the seventh day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, a race-horse that brings me millions (in Euros, not dollars). On the eighth day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, a ram with a Golden Fleece. On the ninth day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, a monkey descended from the Monkey King. On the tenth day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, a rooster that only crows on sunset. On the eleventh day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, a dog that barks in Mandarin. On the twelfth day of Chinese New Year my true love gave to me, a pig that's not afraid of the Big Bad Wolf. :)
