Are there any end of May holiday customs

It's a little after 2 pm here in China, Monday the 7th, the day before the official end of the weeklong holiday. It is sooooooooo quiet. It's almost spooky. Is there something everyone is doing?

There's a party, and for obvious reasons, you were not invited (oh...oops... was I not suppose to tell him? 对不起. Dang it... now the secret is blown for next year) (and of course if there really was one, you'd be invited ;)
