hi! there is no English translation for this lesson.....I tried again to look at the Pdf and I just have the pinyin transcript...

can I have at least the title....I noticed that there is never the title in English for this kind of texts.... I am just at an elementary level

I'm nowhere near advanced level (though the photo from the last lesson makes me want to get there fast!)...but I think the idea is that once you get to advanced, you no longer need English translations.

Evelyne, You can always copy / paste the Chinese title into an on-line dictionary and get a quick machine translation.

yes that's true paulc and everybody is right, but I think that sometimes it's good to have more vocabulary , trying to guess and having the answer...It .can make improve a little even if we can't remember all.....but i know that there are dictionaries and that I am too lazy!!! Evelyne, France

Many people use HanziBar from www.realimaginary.com, as mentioned in a few early lesson comments. With it almost any Chinese text on-line can be fairly understood at any level of Chinese background. There are probably others, but I stopped looking after trying this. It is, however, not free. The "almost" and "fairly" qualifications are included because some words must be interpreted in context with the supplied character translations.
