The Chinesepod dictionary

What exactly does it mean that the Chinesepod dictionary is open source? Is there a way to obtain the database? How?

(this thread could probably have been avoided by a "search comment" function - it must have been asked before....:)

Maybe I should clarify that I understand that there is cooperation with the adsotrans dictionary, which is supposedly also open source. However, I don't know exactly what this cooperation consists of, and if the databases are actually identical. Besides, it does not seem possible to download the adsotrans database from their home page, when I try to use the link they provide, I get a "You don't have permission to access /downloads/ on this server."
