May 12, 2008, 12:30 AM posted in General Discussion好久没有在chinesepod和大家一起交流了,不知道大家过的怎么样?(How have you been?)

“ Ok, I'm having a bit of problem wrapping my brain around this sentence, but let me have a go translating it, Casie. You were really busy arranging the school activity where your students can watch the Olympic Torch Relay?

May 12, 2008, 07:35 AMbazza and rjberki, 百年一遇bai3nian3yi1yu4 literally means something that happened only once in a hundred year. so bazza, you are right, that means once in a lifetime. So that is why chinese people want to watch the torch relay by themselves.
