July 08, 2008, 06:59 PMSo the top glossary search is "sex." What does that say about the average CPoddie?

July 09, 2008, 02:22 PMI think it also suggests that there is a demand for a ChinesePod "After Hours" podcast to discuss our more prurient interests. Though finding a host to discuss such things would probably be a challenge.

July 09, 2008, 03:27 PMIt appears that lexus and lexical play such an unimportant role in the ChinesePod approach that they do not merit entries into the glossary.

February 27, 2009, 03:51 AMPlease would it be possible to add a feature to the glossary whereby when you search a term you can add individual symbols straight to your vocabulary list?
For example, if I look up qi4 in the glossary it gives me a whole bunch of hanzi symbols including 气.
However, I don't see how I can add just 气 to my vocabulary list.
If I click on 气 it gives me a whole list of expressions such as
别生气了.
不客气.
小气鬼!
Which, I admit, is pretty cool and extremely useful, however I can only add these to my vocabulary list as chunks or phrases.
Can ChinesePod.com add a feature whereby when the list of terms (for example, qi4) comes up, we can click a tab to add the selected symbols to our vocab lists?
The reason I ask is I'm trying to assemble a list of Hanzi symbols I know how to write.
Thanks.

June 05, 2008, 10:42 AMI like the glossary too. I don't know if it is open source like the old dictionary was supposed to be? Probably not?
