Hanzi SMS

Hello,

My Nokia has the ability to create SMS in Hanzi, but none of my friends here in the States are able to receive my Hanzi SMS messages. Has anyone in the States gotten this to work ?

I've found that sending Pin Yin SMS back and forth is a great way to study, so I was hoping to take it up a notch by using Hanzi.

我也是认为发断信是很好的学习方法。

对汉子来说Skype很实用。 其它的电脑上的IM大概一样，可是我还没试图。

It looks like the problem is two fold. Locked Nokia phones in the US are not always shipping with support for Hanzi. Also, the ATT network in the US doesnt seem to support Hanzi, while TMobile does seem to support this character set.

Skype isn't really an option unless you are at your computer--unless you are one of the very few people with a WiFi Skpe mobile phone.

I really wish this worked...
