Hi All,
Lydia at CityWeekend is looking for contributors to an upcoming issue that features 'The Best of China'. She'll pay for contributions, and I figure (what with poddies being such a discerning bunch) that our listeners across China will be able to come up with some good 'Bests'. If you've been dying to tell the world about that awesome hotpot restaurant or happy hour deal, her email and address are below. She's looking for about 250 words per entry.

The Best of China Wanted!
Do you know the best belly dancing class? The best jewelry repair man? The blue cloth fabric store? The best amateur photography spot? The best indie record store? The best children’s magician? Where to buy the best antique bird cages?

We’ll pay! City Weekend is putting together our first Best of China issue and we want to know your great finds in Beijing, Shanghai and the rest of China. Bests can come from any place in China, so if you know where to buy the best chilies in Sichuan or where amazing handmade paper is created in the countryside, let us know—the more unique the better. We’ll pay between RMB50-200 for each idea used (depending on length of description), plus another RMB50-500 for any photo you provide that accompanies your best. You will also be credited in the feature.

E-mail me with your ideas!
-Lydia
