November 20, 2007, 09:49 AM posted in General DiscussionAh, the home front. Any self-respecting Mandarin learner has their work cut out for them in deciphering the who's who of a Chinese family. And don't think the one-child policy makes things any easier. So, line 'em up, and get them all straight in this podcast which will enlighten you on the members of a Chinese family.

Once, I watched a TV program about Chinese Charaters named <汉字五千年>, do you know that?A wonderful program. It mentioned there were over 300 kinds of family members in China. I can not enumerate each one even. All above are the common ones.

March 16, 2009, 05:52 AMHi urcto,
Seems that link is extinct. On the other hand there is one that you might find more useful:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/
我刚才找到它. (清,always correct my 汉字 如果你有诗).
I guess a lot. 现在要看度你的长家人但(?). Made that up.
Also, again, I'm happy to correct your compositions. I prefer email because this editor is very flaky. 你懂"flaky"马?
要不在这里很晚。我要睡觉 ...
星期一快乐,
Bill

November 26, 2007, 08:52 PM你好,大家,
This lesson is the first of three for this week on family members. There are all newbie lessons and very basic. I like the following BBC small lesson set that is very good for beginners. It also has an intro to family members. You might take a look:

再见,
