What is the best sequence of ChinesePOD lessons for a beginner learning chinese. Should I follow in order from Newbie #1 on, or is there a better sequence?

There is a Welcome Lesson Set of Newbie lessons to get you started. After that, there is no ideal sequence other than looking through the list of Newbie lessons and bookmarking those you think will be interesting. The lesson do not need to be followed in any particular order.
Also, take a look at John's article, An Insider's Look at ChinesePod, for some more recommended lessons.
