My family, newbie text

This is a short text suitable for newbie’s/elementary. After the test there is two links to an external site where the same texts is available with regular annotation and another one with annotation in the status bar as well as all the words in an wordlist in the end of the document.

我的家

我姓王。我家有四口人﹕我太太﹐一个男孩子和一个女孩子。我在学校工作﹐是中文老师﹐我太太在美国银行当秘书﹐男孩子和女孩子都在学校唸书。我们都很忙。

最近﹐我想买一辆汽车。可是我太太说﹕“你不会开车﹐我们不买汽车﹗”我问她﹕“你想买什么﹖”我太太说﹕“我想买房子﹗”我说﹕“房子太贵﹐我们没钱﹗”香港的房子贵极了﹐我不想买﹔可是汽车也不便宜﹐我太太也不想买。我们的男孩子说﹕“爸爸﹐我们买房子﹐也买汽车﹐好吗﹖”我们的女孩子说﹕“妈妈﹐我们不买房子﹐也不买汽车。”朋友﹐你说﹐怎么办﹖
