sarcasm vs. irony

in my chinese dictionary, ironic and sarcastic have the

same meaning feng3ci4de  讽刺的

but in english the meaning is not the same

So how would we say:

1. It's so ironic.

Would it be 这么讽刺的？

2. he's so sarcastic. Would we use chao2xiao2de 嘲笑的

instead of fengcide

他很嘲笑的？
